    Saunders net profit jumps 29pc

    Saunders generates a significant proportion of revenue from inspection, repair and maintenance work, which provides recurring income. In a traditionally capital-intensive industry that is not renowned for delivering strong shareholder returns, Saunders has outperformed many of its larger peers, and in 2013-14 return on equity was 35 per cent.
