    Sydney | Global maritime experts are calling for better regulation of submersibles taking tourists on deep-sea adventures following the loss of the Titan in the North Atlantic and the death of its five-man crew.

    The tragedy could lead to a strengthening of the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) international treaty, which ensures all ships registered by signatory countries comply with minimum safety standards in construction, equipment and ongoing operation.
