Just 24 hours after OpenAI showed off a version of ChatGPT that founder Sam Altman said was “like an AI from the movies”, its chief rival Google has come out with something even bigger.
Much, much bigger. By one key metric, measuring how much information the AI considers when it’s customising its responses to match a question, 15.625 times bigger, to be precise.
