AustralianSuper splashes $2.5b on data centres

AustralianSuper has invested $2.5 billion in Vantage Data Centres, a major developer of data centres in Europe and the United States, hoping to seize the opportunities created by the growth in artificial intelligence.
The country’s biggest super fund has acquired a minority stake in Vantage, joining global alternative investment manager DigitalBridge, which remains the majority shareholder.
