About 12,000 women undergoing fertility treatment at private clinics in NSW will be able to access a $2000 rebate as the state government looks to put women and families front and centre of next month’s state budget.

More than 6000 women will be able to access publicly funded IVF treatment as part of an $80 million package announced by NSW Treasurer Matt Kean on Sunday.
