Queensland billionaire businessman Clive Palmer is having another crack at parliament, announcing he will run for a Senate seat at this year’s federal election.

The financial backer of the United Australia Party – which has morphed into an anti-vaccination and anti-COVID-19 restrictions party – vowed he was done with politics after he quit his Lower House seat before the 2016 election.
