    Many superannuation savers will pay tax twice on earnings in their retirement nest eggs as a “natural consequence” of how Labor plans to increase the tax paid on high-balance accounts, according to shadow treasurer Angus Taylor.

    The move would set a “dangerous precedent”, he said, slamming the proposed reforms as “a bad tax, bad policy and wealth tax”.
