    Trips on Melbourne’s toll roads remain below pre-pandemic levels

    Drivers in Melbourne are still taking fewer trips on Transurban’s toll roads than before the COVID-19 pandemic, but the opening of new motorways in Sydney has helped lift the company’s group traffic to record levels.

    Transurban on Monday reported a 13 per cent rise in group average daily traffic flows, or around 2.4 million trips, in the March quarter compared with the year-earlier period.
