    Parents who enrol their kids in private schools should double their annual budget, with ancillary costs such as uniforms, technology and school camps often equalling tuition fees.

    New research reveals that school fees in Sydney represent just 52 per cent of families’ spending on education, with 48 per cent going to extracurricular activities and essentials, such as transport.
