    Universities that do not pay fees to board members risk being unable to attract a wide range of experienced individuals to oversee their institutions, the chancellor of one of Australia’s most prominent universities warns.

    University of Adelaide chancellor Catherine Branson said a no fee policy for councillors was a barrier to the university’s ability to appoint a diverse board.
