Melbourne named Australia’s best university for scientific research

Australia has four universities named in the world’s top 50 for scientific research.
The Leiden ranking, which focuses only on scientific performance, has the University of Melbourne at 28, Sydney University at 36, the University of Queensland at 48 and Monash University at 49.
