Scott Farquhar to step down as Atlassian co-CEO

The two-decade partnership between Atlassian’s co-founders will come to an end in August, when Mike Cannon-Brookes will become the Sydney software company’s sole chief executive.

Trailblazers in the post-dotcom technology scene in Australia, the Atlassian co-founders took the company they started in Sydney in 2002 with a $10,000-limit credit card to a Nasdaq-listed $US52.6 billion ($79 billion) company.
