    It’s understood that Neptune Marine Services is being shopped to private equity firms by an investment bank, with meetings due to start today. The pitch is said to be a buyout backed by former chief executive Christian Lange .

    Following a report in Street Talk back in September, Neptune confirmed it had received “uncertain" and “conditional" approaches from “various interested parties". But it said it was not involved in any negotiations that might require ASX disclosure.
