    About 60 per cent of homeowners who have acquired residential property in the past three years are concerned they will owe more than the value of their homes as house prices continue to slide, a survey by ME Bank says.

    Nearly 50 per cent of those who have jumped into the market during the boom also regretted the prices paid, while falling house prices made them feel less wealthy which may impact their spending.
