    John van Lieshout has made his billion dollar fortune from a career in property and retail, but also holds some intriguing share and big bank investments.

    The Queensland billionaire founded the Super Amart furniture chain, selling out to private equity firm Ironbridge Capital in a deal worth about $500 million in 2006.
