Shares soar after gold lottery win

Mr Leath Beal was around $800,000 richer yesterday after shares in Audax Resources NL surged following his victory in one of Australia's biggest corporate lotteries.
Audax shares hit a high of 48.5¢ in early trade, 62 per cent above yesterday's closing price, returning to close 7.5¢ higher at 37.5¢ on a healthy volume of 4.18 million.
