    Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is considering a police investigation into One Nation following the leaking of secret recordings in which Pauline Hanson's chief-of-staff James Ashby is heard discussing how to illegally profit from the forthcoming Queensland election.

    Asked by Labor whether he would commission an investigation into whether One Nation had previously defrauded the Commonwealth using the mechanism outlined by Mr Ashby, Mr Turnbull said he was seeking advice from the Australian Federal Police and his own ministers for law enforcement.
