    The Albanese government is mightily relieved its Labor colleagues in Western Australia have belatedly accepted the need to scrap the state’s new cultural heritage laws.

    These laws were creating another hurdle in the desperate race to turn around falling support nationally for an Indigenous Voice to parliament.
