    There seems no end to the conflagration of political reputations and social mores set alight by Brittany Higgins’ allegation that she was raped in Parliament House in 2019. Finance Minister Katy Gallagher is just the latest politician suddenly exposed to attack.

    The Coalition is desperate to exploit Gallagher’s vulnerability to charges of misleading parliament after she vehemently insisted two years ago no one in Labor had any prior knowledge of Higgins’ claims.
