    The Australian government will establish a $2 billion finance facility to help fund green energy and infrastructure investment in South-East Asia, to tap into spiralling demand for renewable power in the region between now and 2050.

    The initiative, a key recommendation by business luminary and special envoy to South-East Asia Nicholas Moore, will provide loans, guarantees, equity and insurance to help bolster what he found to be “underweight” and “stagnant” two-way trade and investment with the ASEAN bloc.
