'Our work is relied on by millions': artists urge rescue package

Australian artists have pleaded for pandemic support from the Morrison government, warning thousands of livelihoods and the nation's cultural identity are at risk.
Internationally recognised artists Tony Albert, Maria Fernanda Cardoso, Blak Douglas, Janet Laurence and Khaled Sabsabi are among 1000 signatories to an open letter, calling for financial assistance for creators, curators, technicians, galleries and museums.
