    Sport Minister Anika Wells’ decision to attend the FIFA World Cup in Qatar risks helping the country’s rulers distract from regular human rights violations, the Greens have warned.

    Ms Wells and opposition sport spokeswoman Anne Ruston will travel to Doha this week to support the Socceroos and promote the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup event, to be co-hosted by Australia.
