    Independent political candidate Allegra Spender was a director of her mother’s fashion business, Carla Zampatti Pty Ltd, when it failed to abide by a federal law requiring disclosure about its treatment of women.

    The Workplace Gender Equality Agency’s 2019-20 annual report listed Carla Zampatti as one of 108 companies that failed to comply with a pay equality law that applies to businesses with more than 100 staff.
