Crown Resorts plays down impact to profits from Chinese detentions

Crown Resorts chief executive Rowen Craigie has attempted to reassure investors about the potential impact to its operations from the detention of 18 of its staff in China.

After the conclusion of a tightly controlled annual meeting in Perth on Thursday, Mr Craigie told reporters less than 12 per cent of Crown Group's revenue came from VIP visitors from mainland China but the impact on its profit was substantially less.
