    Food delivery, ride-sharing and short-term accommodation platforms are set to be included in a new anti-tax avoidance reporting scheme, with the federal government pushing ahead on new rules from next year.

    Tax reporting obligations for the sharing economy will be toughened from July 1, 2022, for Uber drivers and Airbnb users, with food delivery and services including Airtasker set to be included from July 1, 2023.
