    Australian Competition and Consumer Commission chairman Gina Cass-Gottlieb has criticised “loyalty taxes” as banks fail to pass on to savers the full extent of Reserve Bank interest rate increases.

    The ACCC is investigating deposit rates after the major banks left savings rates relatively unchanged and as at least three more increases to official rates are now expected this year.
