    Endeavour Group’s retail liquor chains Dan Murphy’s and BWS began the second half on uneven footing with flat trading in the first seven weeks heaping pressure on management to slash costs.

    The Bruce Mathieson-backed group said turnover at its 350 pubs was up 1 per cent over the same period.
