Homewares retailer Adairs expects December-half earnings to rise almost three-fold following a surge in sales over the past five months as the cocooning trend shows no signs of abating.

The manchester retailer said it expected underlying earnings before interest and tax to come in between $62 million and $66 million, compared with $23.2 million in the previous December-half and $62.8 million for the full year in 2020.
