    Accounting and consulting firm Grant Thornton has a gender pay gap in favour of women and an even gender split between men and women among its highest paid workers.

    The sector leading results are due to a series of ground-breaking workplace flexibility polices put in place during the past eight years – including 26 weeks of paid parental leave and a nine-day fortnight – which have all helped the accounting and consulting firm retain female employees longer than rivals.
