    Glencore’s annual investor day appears to have seeded a Mark Twain moment for chief executive Ivan Glasenberg.

    Reports that the 62-year-old force of nature who has run Glencore since 2002 had hinted at a retirement more imminent than previously flagged could well prove to be an exaggeration.
