Genesis sweetens its bid for St Barbara’s Gwalia mine

Genesis Minerals has increased the scrip component of its offer for St Barbara’s flagship Gwalia gold mine as it tries to head off a rival bid from Silver Lake Resources.

The revised Genesis offer was revealed on Monday as the St Barbara board again rebuffed a Silver Lake cash and scrip bid that remains higher but is non-binding and subject to several conditions.
