    The merger of Fairfax Media and Nine Entertainment will give birth to Australia's largest media business with four new operating businesses; publishing, television, Stan and the combination of Fairfax's regional and New Zealand publishing assets.

    Nine chief executive Hugh Marks announced the new structure to Nine and Fairfax staff on Monday morning as well as confirming the key executives across the combined business, revealed by The Australian Financial Review overnight.
