AFR to stop printing in WA after Seven’s ‘abuse of power’

Nine has been forced to pull its print editions of The Australian Financial Review from Perth after billionaire Kerry Stokes’ Seven West Media demanded a new contract that doubled the cost of printing.
In what appears to be a targeted attack on the Financial Review, the Seven-owned Colourpress, the only printer of major newspapers in Western Australia, delivered the ultimatum to Nine’s publishing chief, Tory Maguire, late last month.
