    Pental, the maker of White King bleach, Softly wool wash and Jiffy firelighters, may have to dip into inventories to keep supermarkets supplied after being hit by the spreading COVID-19 outbreak in Victoria.

    Chief executive Charlie McLeish said on Monday about 20 staff at the consumer product company’s Shepparton factory were in isolation after visiting exposure sites or awaiting the results of COVID-19 tests as cases in regional Victoria surged.
