    The Victorian gambling regulator has rejected a string of allegations from Tasmanian MP Andrew Wilkie about improper conduct at Crown Resorts' Melbourne casino, but has urged the company's independent directors to get more involved in the oversight of the casino.

    The sixth review of Crown Melbourne's licence by the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation made 20 recommendations, which have all been accepted by Crown Resorts, executive chairman John Alexander said in a letter released to the ASX.
