Schoolboy attacks ‘evil’ banks in protest at AFR Summit

A 15-year-old protester confronted the CEOs of NAB and Commonwealth Bank at The Australian Financial Review Banking Summit on Tuesday morning over their approach to climate change, blasting the banking sector as “evil”.
However, head of the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) Wayne Byres said it was important for lenders to keep funding “brown” companies to become “green” as part of Australia’s decarbonisation.
