    Code red for Senetas

Network encryption specialist Senetas reported a $1.49 million loss for the half-year ending December 31. Revenue was $5.7 million, compared with $7.2 million for the same period in 2005. Senetas attributed the loss to lower than expected royalty payments from its overseas distributor, costs associated with a discontinued capital raising, and research and development expenditure of $1.4 million. Senetas closed at 26¢, down half a cent. Joshua Gliddon
