    One of Western Australia’s biggest gas users is urging the government to crack down on major offshore LNG producers amid revelations the resources giants are supplying the state’s domestic market with half of the gas they have promised.

    An interim report into the state’s domestic gas reserve, which former premier Mark McGowan once described as “the envy of the nation”, found it was not robust enough to ensure major offshore gas producers delivered adequate supply to the local market.
