Snapchat’s parent company is going backwards in Australia, with its revenue falling 4 per cent to $88 million, cementing the dominance of its larger rivals YouTube, TikTok and Meta.

Snap, known for its self-deleting chat app and TikTok clone Spotlight, is less than 10 per cent of the size of the social media companies that are thriving in Australia despite an overall advertising downturn.
