Disability organisations supporting families with an autism diagnosis have called for an ironclad guarantee from the Albanese government that no children will be left worse off by major changes to the NDIS.
The federal government’s review will result in a $10 billion scheme being established to treat children with mild autism and early developmental disorders, and this will be administered and funded jointly by the federal government and the states and territories.
